The four printing methods cannot use the same data for plate making

the traditional printing process basically uses four printing methods, namely: lithography, gravure printing, relief printing, silk printing (missing printing, hole printing). If there are four printing methods, there are four plate making processes. Due to different printing methods, the printing principle and inking value are also very different. Therefore, when making color plates, if the same hue is not the same version type, you cannot use the same data to make plates

I. plane printing is an indirect printing method. It transfers the ink on the printing plate to the rubber plate, so the ink becomes thinner and the hue will be reduced Therefore, in plate making, the color value on the plate should be greater than the original color value, so as to achieve the effect of restoring the hue with the original. In terms of plate making, the color of plate making should be long, high-key can be absolutely, and low-key can be a solid bottom. The color value on the plate shall be greater than the color value of the original, subject to the middle note (50% point), and shall be restored through printing and original tone

II. Relief printing is direct printing

regardless of the structure and model of the printing machine? The types used for embossing are as follows: under symmetrical cyclic stress = - 1, the types of lead plate, copper plate, zinc plate, flexible plate and rubber engraving plate are directly connected with the printed object. The ink layer is thicker than that of the lithographic plate during printing, so the color tone is shorter when making the color plate. Now the color combinations of copper plate, zinc plate and flexible plate are briefly described as follows:

1. the low version of copper plate color plate

is not intuitive, The color value on the bottom plate can not be seen. It uses the method of layered corrosion to meet the color value requirements. The high key can not be eliminated. If the printing is eliminated, there will be a hard mouth. If the low key can not be consolidated, there will be fish scales on the consolidated bottom. The color value on the plate is the same as the color value of the original. Through printing, the tone can be restored. The ink flow variable of this type of plate is small. For more than 50% of the dots, the color value should be expanded by 10% - 20% during printing, so the hue should be short

2. zinc plate color version

its low version is intuitive, and the plate making process is simpler than copper plate. It uses one point to achieve half point shape through corrosion, and the low-key is the same as the middle note and copper plate. The printing method and ink of zinc plate color plate are the same as that of copper plate

3. flexo version

its lower version is intuitive, is made by means of corrosion, and the process is relatively simple. The high key can be absolutely high, and the low key is the same as that of the copper plate. The middle note (50% point) shall prevail, because this plate refers to the 1-segment type that takes the parallel length of the middle part (narrow) of the dumbbell type sample, which has a large elasticity and a large dot expansion rate during printing

III. gravure printing is a direct printing method

in the printing process, the printing plate and the printed object are intended to help you! In direct contact, the inking point is concave, the ink flow variable is large (liquid), but there are few fillers, and the color value is large. The color value expansion rate of points with a color value of more than 50% is large. Therefore, in plate making, the hue should be short, the high-profile can be absolute, and the low-key should be compressed by 20% - 30% compared with the flat tone. The color value on the plate shall be less than the original color value based on the middle note (50% point). Tone restoration can only be achieved through printing. Gravure has another feature. The text and solid base on the plate must also be formed with dots. Only in this way can the ink exist regularly on the plate cylinder, so as to meet the ideal printing requirements

IV. silk printing is a direct printing method

it has many models and a wider variety of products, so it is called omnipotent printing. In recent years, silk printing has developed rapidly, but the printing products are still limited to simple words and lines. Apart from the large-scale murals that can be printed in Guangzhou, we have not seen any other line color products. The main reason is that the plate making technology can not keep up, and silk printing is widely used in foreign countries

line color version, I have also tried. I should master the following points when making plate:

1. the ratio of the number of silk lines to the number of base plate lines. Generally, the number of silk lines is equal to three times the number of base plate lines. Also, the test data collected by the computer is 3:1. If 100 line mesh plate making is used, 300 lines of silk (silk) must be used

2. master the silk angle and the bottom plate angle. The angle difference between the two angles should not be greater than 30 degrees, especially the magenta, green and black colors. Otherwise, tortoise script will appear, that is, the traditional plate making angle cannot be used

3. the tension should be consistent, otherwise the printing overprint will produce ghosting. In addition to the above three points, in the color used for plate making, the hue should be short, the high profile should not be absolutely (referring to the colorless place) and the low profile. Compared with the lithography, the color value on the plate should be compressed by 20% - 25%. The color value on the plate shall be less than the original color value based on the middle note (50% point). Through printing, the ideal tone restoration effect can be achieved

the color value on the plate shall be determined according to the printing inking principle and the thickness of the inking layer. The inking of silk printing is discharged from the hole to the printed object from top to bottom. The thicker the number of wires, the thicker the ink layer. At the time of printing, more than 50% of the dot ink value has a large expansion rate, and less than 10% of the dot ink is not easy, so the high profile of plate making cannot be denied
